The main purpose of imposing restrictions – is to prevent cheating of citation indices by self-citation and cross-citation. We believe that most of our authors do not use questionable methods, so their limitations will not be affected.
1. No more than two articles by one author (in any composition of authors) can be published in one issue.
If you need to publish more than five articles quickly, we recommend that you combine some of them, or transfer some of the articles to the next issue of the journal
2. The list of references should not be too voluminous: the index of bibliography should not exceed 6.
To calculate the bibliography volume index, it is necessary to divide the number of sources in the bibliography by the total number of pages in the article.
Example 1. In the list of literature – 35 sources, in the article – 5 pages. The bibliography volume index is 35/5 = 7 (more than 6). So, there are too many sources in the bibliography. You need to either reduce the list of references, or increase the content of the article.
Example 2. In the bibliography – 15 sources, in the article – 6 pages. The bibliography volume index is 15/6 = 2.5 (less than 6).. Thus, the maximum volume of the bibliography is not exceeded, the article satisfies the restrictions.
Exceptions may be articles aimed at reviewing various sources.
3. A large number of references to the Electronic scientific-practical journal "Intellectualization of logistics and supply chain management" is not allowed: the percentage of self-citation of the journal should not exceed 30%.
To calculate this indicator, divide the number of references to the Electronic scientific-practical journal “Intellectualization of logistics and supply chain management” in the bibliography by the total number of sources.
Example 1. In the bibliography – 20 sources, of which 10 – are other articles from the Electronic scientific-practical journal “Intellectualization of logistics and supply chain management”. 10 articles out of 20 are 50% (more than 30%). Therefore, part of the references to the Electronic scientific-practical journal “Intellectualization of logistics and supply chain management” should be either removed or replaced by references to other sources used.
Example 2. In the bibliography – 10 sources, of which 2 – are other articles from the Electronic scientific-practical journal “Intellectualization of logistics and supply chain management”. 2 articles out of 10 are 20% (less than 30%). Therefore, the percentage of self-citation of the journal is not exceeded, the article satisfies the restrictions..
Please note! Please note that you do not need to calculate the indicators yourself!
